Christianity is not about ritual
It is not about a list of do’s and don’ts
It is not just having a form of outward godliness
It is not about separation from the pagans
It is not about impressing the crowds with mighty words
It is not about possessing the abundance
It is not just about a religion
But rather
Christianity is about having a relationship with Jesus
If I claim to be a Christian, do I have a relationship with Him?
What place do I have for Jesus in me?
Who is He to me?
How precious is He to me?
Many times we claim ourselves as a Christian
But do we really know who Jesus is to us?
It is time to ponder…
*Many times when I ponder upon those questions it pricks me profoundly. I know I’m far way from that. If I am really concern abt WHO Jesus is in my life, would I still seek for other type of love? Would I still grumble in my life? Would I still be discontented? Would I still worry abt tomolo? Would I still be possessive upon materials? Would I still be expecting others to repay me for the favors I had done in them? Would I still live for myself?
** My prayer: apart from the Lord, I cannot do anythg, without Him I am just nothing. Lord, lead me not into temptation; I need You to SHAPE my life. Lead me away from sins and slip back into the pit of darkness. Knowing how inadequate I could be. **
