5 languages of LOVE
Every human being born on this earth would hunger for love, search for love and needed to be loved in return. The biggest thing among faith, hope and love, LOVE is the greatest thing. If one has faith that can move mountains or reaching out to the lost ones but without love are nothing. If we have hope in moments of frailty but without LOVE we are also nothing. To have LOVE is to have everything. That is why when God 1st created mankind; it was out of love God created the 1st Adam. God himself is the source of true LOVE. The type of love we have with our parents, spouse or friendship can never be replaced by the portion that we should leave for God to fill in. That type of love is called the AGAPE love. AGAPE = HOLY LOVE, SACRIFICIAL LOVE, the kinda of love CHRIST died on the CROSS for us. 2day I receive insights from a frend, her sharing somehow has enlightened my thoughts. There are 5 common languages of love we have to identify. • The 1st type of love that would generally speak into a person’s life is through WORDS, eg; you are some1 who would recognize you are being love through words of encouragements, motivation or warmth by SMS, e-mails or messages. • 2nd type is by SPENDING TIME; you would feel love only if the person spend his/her time doing nothg but just to be with you. • 3rd type is by GIFT; you are being love when some1 shows it through giving materials like presents, money, house, car n etc… • 4th type is by ACTION of CARE; you will feel loved only the person shows in action like cook a meal for ya, clean the house for you when you are busy, sing a love song, bake cake for ya, polish your shoes, etc… • 5th type is by SENSE of TOUCH; you feel love if only the person HUGS you, embrace or hold your hands. At the beginning I reckoned that I needed 5 of them…haha guess what my frend told me that I am really some1 lack of love. Witty enough I am…but then later to truly identify the type of love language that could speak to me I should specify it to only 2. Guess what!? After a deep pndering… My choice Choices are4th n 5th type; ACTION of CARE & SENSE of TOUCH. Its crucial 2identify this and it helps to understand ourselves more and the other party as well. Now I know why I am very sensitive when I accidentally TOUCH some1’s hands, or any parts of the body and I have that awkward feeling in me even with female frends or even male. I would never simply intend to touch some1 if he or she no matter how close we can be. My concept is that the TOUCH is something very precious to me and it cannot be simply laid on. I regard TOUCH as something very intimate to me. That is why if I got beaten or smacked or hit by some1 out of anger it will create a very DEEP HURT & SCARE in my heart. Thank God I discover this so that I have a clue why I behave in certain reaction upon certain circumstances.
