A new discovery during the camping trip

Yesterday was our final day of 3-days2-nights camping trip to Santubong Resort. We checked out at ard 1pm and reached home after 45mins plus. It was a fantastic camp and I do gain loadsa meaningful insights this time. Before the departure on Mon morning, I was telling my frend not to expect too much from the camp so that when things don’t turn out to be the way we wanted at least we won’t feel devastated. Thank God me and chai hui had a car pooled with Grace (one of our cellgrp members) if not for her we wouldn’t had any transport to reach the destination.

On the 1st day it was raining quite heavily when we started our journey. Grace had to drive very slow & got herself real alert. Nothg much kicking on the 1st day as we were busying unloading our baggage to the different rooms but in the same block. Apparently, my roommates were all very considerate and nice to mingle with. However, as we aren’t fond to each other we dint get to chat much on the 1st day. We were all divided into different categories for games based on diverse colours scheme.

The most attention-grabbing time was during the games session which fall on the 2nd day. 1st session was an indoor game, 2nd session was in the swimming pool and the last session was on the beach which was the best of all! We had all sorts of extreme & creative events to compete. Ranging from water-based to muddy-based events. We truly had a greatime and I really thank God for the very fine cloudy weather for all the 3days there. My teammates were all very enthusiastic and high-spirited to win each event especially the massive guys. Indeed our grp became champion at the end when the judges summed up all our points. Really out of my expectation. The most I would expect was either to get 2nd or the 3rd place but it was such surprising news to all of us when the result was proclaimed. To achieve no.1 was never in my mind when I participated for each event. All I aimed for was to finish each task as immediate as possible. That was my main focus. Other than that, the main purpose was to have fun and fellowship among different brothers and sisters from diverse background.

Up till today, the joints of my body were still filled with lactic acid, which caused the motion coordination hard and painful, alas! This is the penalty of not having often physical exercise. How pathetic… well I suppose this wont last long, it will just take a few more days to dissolve the acid in my joints. Overall, I was very much contented and spirit-filled again after the remarkable teaching by DR.Paul Tan (PHD holder in theology and a fulltime evangelist) on the book of SONGS OF SONGS written by the wisest man who had ever lived on earth, King Solomon!

Those who read the Bible will find tht SOS is the hardest book to be comprehended or perhaps some may consider it as inappropriate for younger Christian to read due to the illustration Solomon used were likely 18SX or it may only be suitable for married couples, but that wasn’t true. Dr Paul took 13 years to study & pray for divine understanding of this wonderful book, and we were so privilege that in just within the 3-days timeframe we were able to discover so many mysterious zests in it. Now when I read the book of SOS I no longer had to scratch my head and cracked my brain to keep guessing what exactly King Solomon was trying to convey in it. SOS is such a romantic and intimate book about LOVE valid for lovers, married couples and the divine LOVE of God.
