PLANETSHAKERS ‘shakes’ Kuching on MERDEKA Day!!!

Applause! Applause! Glory to GOD that I had the chance to experience the tremendous ‘QUAKE’ brought by PLANETSHAKERS lastnite on 31 Aug in conjunction with the celebration of our 49yrs national INDEPENCENCE day! without a doubt those who have invited Jesus to become their saviour have been SET FREE spiritually from the bondages of the devil. That would be our TRUE independence from the darkness of this world, amen!

At first, me & my frends were very anxious waited for abt 45mins queue outside the main entrance from the concert hall that crammed about 3000+ youngsters+adults just for lastnite alone. We were horded just like sardine fish in the can…although in the beginning the place was quite cold where the rain hadn’t stopped for whole day and it was then we began to feel suffocating and the heat among ourselves. We were chatting away along the two-lined people and without realizing the time had passed by & finally the entrance were allowed to be admitted. As swiftly we rushed into the very front rows just a few steps away from the performance stage. AS usual we were always the very kiasu group! We managed to grab a very strategic location…haha…just straight in the middle. We sat down on the floor whilst waiting for PLANETSHAKERS to come out. As we anticipated, the crowds were getting more n more impatience and making loadsa clatter. We waited for another 35mins, personally I was really eager cos it had been a longtime that I haven’t been so wild and out pouring in the ROCKING spirit 4 God. Then, one by one the team members came into sight on stage, the crowds were screaaamminng n yelling like mad, as if my eardrums were gonna SHATTER! The lads looked gorgeous and incredibly cool that was one of the major reasons why the crowds screeched!

Thank God I could still bear with it. Actually I was also SHOUTING to the TOP of my voice! The first song was rocking enough to shake every1 and it was a wonderful opening. We were leaping to the utmost height n down like the wave, shouting for the Lord’s name and give all our praises to HIM! I felt extremely contented! I’d been to many secular concerts in my past during those adolescence years BUT nothing was as outburst as like lastnite! We echoed for more… well to our dismay it finished quite fast nevertheless… Applause! Applause! Glory to GOD! It was such an energetic praise n worship, bravo!

What’s more was all the lads on stage were so dazzling in their spirit not by just having good looks outwardly. (anyway I felt privileged 1 of the Australian lads who was from the team he hastily squeezed himself into the crowds just to heighten up the atmosphere, at 1st I was kinda surprise wondering who is that tall, handsome bloke standing next to my shoulder in a sudden and he whistled very loudly…wow~ ^_^ )

on the contrary is I was so touched by the way JESUS saved them n has done great transformation in their lives thus today they are so ON FIRE for HIM. Prayerfully this FIRE will last forever 4 every1 who holds on to Him. Praise God…. And there is one thing I am very encouraged by these spirit-filled gorgeous blokes is their courage on evangelism in the midst of mass which is one thing that I am very lack of. I believe the most important thing wasn’t abt how great they could sing, dance, sing or how skillful they could play the musical notes but it was all about how Jesus picked them up when they were in their brokenness, loneliness, in the midst of facing great tribulation Jesus was THE ONE who gives them hope and patched up each shattered piece of their lives. Through the concert, God has once again reminded me abt HIS faithfulness and GRACE that no words could ever express my gratitude toward His marvelous LOVE apart from tears of joy. It reminded me how I was being saved and secured in his HOLY presence when I was at the ditch of my life, how He laid down HIS tenderness to restore my wounded-heart, how He embraced me when every1 else ostracized me even my dearest family members… Indeed being a converted-Christian myself, Jesus shall be the reason I live. JESUS ROCKS my world! PLANETSHAKERS ‘SHAKES’ the earth! Splendid!
